Any takers?  As a member of the Class of 1989, I propose that our classmates sponsor an Alumni celebration in Hoonah in 2014.  This is a bias date since this would be the 25th renuion for the Class of 1989.  The idea would be to do a combined celebration with the Class of 2004 (10 years) and Class of 1964 (50 years).

I am still brainstorming this idea and will post it on the Hoonah Alumni Facebook Group.  I will also create an initial website to help get this effort going.  This will be a large effort so I will definitely be looking for help.  If interested, please contact me.

Hoonah AlumniI created a Hoonah Alumni group on facebook.  I would love to get fellow alumni to contribute content to this group (wall post, discussion, photos, videos) to get a sense of what to put on the HoonahAlumni.net website.

The Idea, concept is to be a resource to former alumni to get a hold of old friends/staff/faculty.  Also to provide posts/stories from alumni to share their experiences with fellow alumni but most importantly, current students.

Would also like to start to provide a featured Alumnus to celebrate the success of former Hoonah Alumni and paint a positive picture of how Hoonah Alumni are making a difference.

It would be great if we can start an official Hoonah Alumni organization to help sponsor scholarships, create employment resources/links, and assist on organizing reunions. Please contact me if you have any suggestion or ideas on exploring these ideas or adding more to the list.

Recreated the Davis Family website to utilize WordPress.  This is a blog site to help communicate family events and happenings to family and friends.  As the boys get older, they provide endless entertainment of things that they say or do.  This is an attempt to document some of that to hopefully share with them in the future.

Jeff and Judy are establishing an online presence with Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts.  Visit the site to catch up on what the Davis Family is up to.
